Letter from Our Principal
Dear Warrior Nation,
Welcome to Tattnall County High School! It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of a school with such a rich tradition of excellence, pride, and community. I am excited to partner with our students, families, faculty, staff, and community as we continue building on the strong foundation that makes TCHS a special place.
At Tattnall County High School, our mission is to prepare every student for success beyond graduation by providing meaningful learning experiences, fostering positive relationships, and creating opportunities for all students to discover and develop their unique talents. Whether our students choose college, the military, technical education, or the workforce, we are committed to equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to thrive.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is challenged to grow academically, socially, and personally. We believe that high expectations, combined with meaningful support, empower students to achieve their greatest potential.
At TCHS, students have countless opportunities to become involved and make lasting memories through:
Academic Excellence: Rigorous coursework, Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathways, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment opportunities, and programs designed to prepare students for future success.
Athletics and Extracurricular Activities: From championship athletics to fine arts, student organizations, leadership opportunities, and community service, there is a place for every Warrior to belong and excel.
Student Support: Our counselors, teachers, administrators, and support staff work together to ensure that every student has the guidance and resources needed to succeed.
Family and Community Partnerships: We value strong relationships with our families and community members. Working together, we create the best possible learning environment for our students.
I encourage you to stay connected by visiting our website, following our social media platforms, attending school events, and communicating with our faculty and staff. Your involvement plays an important role in the success of our students and our school community.
As I begin this journey as principal, I look forward to getting to know each of our students and families and celebrating the many accomplishments that lie ahead. Together, we will continue to foster a culture of excellence, respect, and Warrior pride.
Thank you for entrusting us with your students. I am excited for what the future holds for Tattnall County High School, and I look forward to working alongside you to make this an outstanding year.
Go Warriors!
Amy Scott
